Making 'Gift of Love' for Neighbors

- 3,000 sets of 'Gift of Love' were made from Red Cross Bazaar proceeds, 

to be delivered to vulnerable seniors -

The Special Advisory Committee on Women's Volunteer Service(Chairman Kang Shin-Ae) and Wednesday Volunteer Association produced 'Gift of Love' at the Republic of Korea National Red Cross(KNRC) headquarter, Henri Dunant hall on Wednesday, November 20th.

A total of 3,000 sets of 'Gift of Love' were made on that day, which include 10 items such as daily commodities and winter supplies. These packages will be delivered to vulnerable seniors who are being taken care by Red Cross volunteers. Also it will provide 2,000 children and youth with gift voucher for cultural activity(worth about 60 million won).

About 100 people, including the wives of 15 diplomatic ambassadors, cabinet ministers, head of financial and public institutions, and Special Advisory Committee on Women's Volunteer Service, membership volunteers of Wednesday Volunteer Association participated in this event.

'Gift of Love' were produced with proceeds from the '2019 Red Cross Bazaar' held at COEX, on last October 2nd.
