On October 27th, 2016, Korean Red Cross celebrated the 111st anniversary at the KRC Headquarters.In 1905, the KRC has been established based on the principle of humanity and the KRC has been actively engaged in various field of activities such as disaster relief and international cooperation for vulnerable populations.
This year, the KRC invited people including staff, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and volunteers, which approximate 600 people participated in the ceremony. The KRC has given volunteer awards to more than 30,000 volunteers and 27 volunteers received the awardsd at the Headquarters. Also, the KRC ambassadors joined and showed performance at the ceremony.
The KRC will continue to engage in various activities and work based on our fundamental principles. |
