For many years, IFRC and National Societies has been working together to support the local community with an increased ability to adapt and cope with disasters, crises, shocks and stresses. The Road Map to Community Resilience (R2R) is a guide with a new approach and a participatory process developed by the IFRC to enable communities to become more resilient through the assessment and analysis of the risks they face, and the implementation of actions to reduce these risks.

2018 Global Workshop (November 27-29, 2018 Seoul, Korea) With the support of the Asia Pacific Disaster Resilience Centre of the Republic of Korea National Red Cross, the IFRC is organizing a global lessons-learned workshop on the roadmap to in Seoul, Korea, on 27-29 November 2018 to scale up RCRC movement for community resilience and determine the way forward for the roll out of the roadmap.
2017 Global Workshop March 15-17, 2017 Seoul, Korea To support in operationalizing The Framework for Community Resilience (FCR), IFRC developed the Road Map to Community Resilience to provide step-by-step guide and organized ToT workshop to facilitate the roll out of the Roadmap.
Innovation has been on a fast and steady rise in the humanitarian system over the past years due to the development of technology and needs from policy-makers and practitioners seeking new tools and approaches to address complex challenges.
It has been crucial to adapt rapid changes and various trends in the world even in Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. In order to support National Societies in the region to prepare and meet those change and needs, APDRC organized Interactive Innovation Workshop in Seoul, Korea.
